GPS partnered with the Cicero Group to better understand their customer in three ways: their demographics, their experiences, and their demand for new products and services. Cicero conducted interactive surveys to ascertain consumer demographics, customer interests, and effectiveness of various marketing efforts. Cicero used mystery shopping and surveys to understand and replicate the customer experience, and provided suggestions to GPS on how to improve the contact points throughout the customer lifecycle and optimize each communication medium. Cicero also identified customer segments for unique products and services as well as price points for each segment.
