Health America wanted to better serve their participating providers by updating and revising their formulary. To provide this assistance, Cicero conducted online surveys of 300 Medical and Surgical Oncologists about numerous and varied topics including familiarity with specific assays, percent of cancer patients in their practice, types of health insurance patients had, and from what source the doctor usually received his/her drug information. The survey also posed several hypothetical scenarios and then asked the participating doctors what assay and or drug they would then prescribe. Cicero was then able to offer insights to Health America from the physician's point of view on what patient treatments should be covered as well as how to improve their Health America experience.
