Cicero® Announces Endowment to the University of Utah and Creation of the Dan Jones Center for Public Service

Cicero® is honored to announce the donation of its wholly owned subsidiary, Dan Jones & Associates, to the University of Utah for the creation of the Dan Jones Center for Public Service.
 
The Center is the culmination of two years of planning and coordination between Cicero and the University for how to best honor the legacy of Dr. Dan Jones, one of Utah’s most influential public servants.  
 
Cicero’s contribution will foster a sanctuary of experiential learning and public engagement at the University, nurturing future leaders for informed, respectful civic responsibility.   
 
The Dan Jones Center for Public Service will be dedicated to conducting premier public opinion and public policy research. It will provide students with real-life learning applications. Two minors will reside within the Center: a public polling minor and a public campaigns minor. The Center will leverage decades of confidential and public data collected by Dan Jones & Associates that, once combined with the innovative research conducted by the Center, will predict future behaviors and priorities. It will engage the community through published reports, trackers, forums, and candidate training. It will convene experts on elections, campaigns, and political opinions. The Center will continue the important legacy of Dr. Dan Jones by engaging people in a civil and informed dialogue of how to best address states’ and the country’s most critical questions.
