Joe is a Principal at Cicero Group. In this role, he partners with private equity firms and management teams to inform investment decisions and drive value creation. He brings deep experience leading cross-functional teams and translating complex analyses into clear executive insights that helps clients prioritize what matters most. Joe has supported clients across sectors that include healthcare, business services, technology, and manufacturing with project experience that includes:

· Commercial Due Diligence: Leads buy-side and sell-side diligence engagements for both private equity and strategic buyers to assess market attractiveness, competitive dynamics, and growth potential of potential acquisition targets.

· Growth Strategy Development: Advise leadership teams on enterprise and business-unit growth strategies by identifying core value drivers, evaluating market expansion and product opportunities, and quantifying tradeoffs to inform investment and prioritization decisions.

· Transformation and Value Creation Planning: Supports strategic planning and value creation efforts by helping organizations prioritize initiatives, quantify financial impact, and align leadership teams around execution roadmaps to inform investment and capital allocation decisions.

Prior to joining Cicero Group, Joe was a Vice President at Pearl Meyer, an executive compensation consulting firm that works to better align clients’ compensation programs to their business strategy. During his seven years at Pearl Meyer, Joe worked directly with senior leadership and compensation committee members across a variety of companies ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small, private companies to address a variety of their compensation needs. Joe’s regular client work included pay for performance modeling, peer group development, value driver analyses, and other market research.

Joe earned an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with concentrations in Strategic Management and Finance. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Chicago, where he was also a four-year member of the Varsity Football Team.
