Michael is a Principal at Cicero Group. He is a creative and strategic leader with a track record capitalizing on emerging technologies to revitalize legacy businesses and launch new products in fast-changing consumer ecosystems. As a consultant, executive, and advisor, he has worked with Fortune 500 companies and startups to adopt and leverage innovative technologies such as AI, blockchain, analytics, and human-centered design methodologies. He has led organization change management projects for Fortune 100 companies, high-profile media organizations, billion-dollar post-merger integrations, and implemented new processes and technologies at a global scale. As the co-founder and COO of SPKR, he led overall strategy, product development, and helped guide the company to a successful acquisition and subsequent IPO on the NYSE.  

At Deloitte, Michael led S&O projects for clients including Disney, Sony, Google, Intel, Verizon, World Economic Forum and the Grammy’s. These projects included large-scale transformations, digital strategy, analytics optimization, strategic planning, and GTM strategy. Highlights include:   

  • Global transformation, change management, and process improvement analysis of audit workflow and critical financial services offerings for top accounting firm.  
  • M&A integration strategy and operational improvement post $1B acquisition. 
  • GTM strategy planning, product development, and launch optimization of consumer and enterprise products including a global financial tool for emerging markets, an audio / video streaming platform, and an AI enabled workflow automation platform.  
  • Created cross division data and analytics strategy for Fortune 100 tech company. 
  • Collaborative GTM partnerships with MIT Media Lab and Singularity University  

          As an executive in media, Michael led the strategy and creation of a digital media division responsible for creating digital products, games, and content for blockbuster Warner Brothers franchise IP like Godzilla, Batman, Superman, and World of Warcraft. He also helped launch an XR practice at Deloitte and led an organization restructuring of a world-renowned music organization. 

          Michael obtained his MBA from the University of Southern California. He earned his undergraduate degree from the prestigious USC School of Cinematic Arts, where he has served as a professor for 10 years, teaching classes on emerging technologies, media, and entrepreneurship.
