Christi Roberts is a School Improvement Coach at Ed Direction, Cicero Group’s K-12 Public Education practice, working directly with education leaders to improve teaching and learning at scale.  Christi has worked in public education for over 25 years as a classroom teacher, teacher leader, and program administrator.  In those roles, she was honored with the Milken National Educator Award and was a state finalist for the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching twice.  Christi holds a National Board Certification as an Exceptional Needs Specialist and is state endorsed in English Language Learning and Middle School.

Prior to joining Ed Direction, Christi worked as an independent educational consultant for districts across the country and internationally.  In that time, she has helped over 50 districts and several national organizations in their work to improve student achievement.  Christi has presented her research and work at the national conferences for WIDA, NCTM, Learning Forward, NABE, and NAGC. 

Christi is an avid runner, reader, traveler, and learner. Her current research involves understanding mathematical teaching practices that support Language Learners in the classroom setting.  When Christi is not working with teachers, you can find her traveling the world with her daughters.
