Justin is an Analyst at Cicero Group specializing in higher education and healthcare. Since joining Cicero Group in 2022, he has conducted due diligence and competitive landscape analysis for multiple billion-dollar firms. He also co-authored a comprehensive white paper on the health insurtech space, supplying a definition and assessment of the industry and projecting future outcomes.
Prior to joining Cicero Group, Justin was an employee experience specialist for a large retailer of over 500 employees. In this role, he used survey tools to spearhead changes to improve employee satisfaction and tenure. He has a deep interest in the benefits of increasing employee engagement, having spent months working as a research assistant on a team of professors studying the impact of employee voice on organizational financial performance.
Additionally, Justin spent multiple years working in an intensive Japanese learning center, where he was both a language teacher and a classroom supervisor. He also co-founded an aerial imaging company, Seraphim Aerial Imaging LLC, and handled web development and day-to-day business operations.
Justin holds a B.S. in Strategic Management from BYU’s Marriott School of Business, where he was a National Merit Scholar. During his time at BYU, he worked as an analyst at Cougar Consulting Group, a for-profit consulting firm under the direction of Jeff Dyer, one of the world’s foremost management thinkers. He was also published in the Marriott Student Review with his thoughts on the intersections of religion with professional recruiting.
