How do you spend your time outside of work?

I love spending time with my wife and family, traveling, reading, listening to music, and enjoying a classic movie with take-out.

What did you do pre-Cicero, and what brought you to the firm?

Before joining Cicero, I was part of Teach For America’s 2014 corps and taught 6th grade in the Bronx. I had a great experience teaching and loved living in New York. I had also known for a while that I wanted to branch out into business, and consulting seemed like the best avenue to do that. I found Cicero and discovered it was a perfect fit—I’ve even been privileged to work with the firm’s education practice (Ed Direction), which has allowed me to stay in touch with my education roots.

What are some interesting things you’ve been working on lately?

I’ve been working with a major home improvement financing company to help them attract more customers and drive increased product usage, which has been a great introduction to a wide array of business skills. I’ve also had the opportunity to work with some legal and education clients on a variety of other projects.

What else makes Cicero a great place to work?

I really enjoy the ownership mentality at Cicero—everyone takes responsibility for the success and growth of the company, and that contributes to an ambitious, hardworking culture. You’re also exposed to phenomenal opportunities to work with and learn from senior leadership, who genuinely listen to your feedback and treat you as a valued colleague.

For fun, any book/movie/music recommendations?

I’m in the middle of Richard Brookhiser’s biography of Alexander Hamilton right now, and it’s been a great read so far. I love history, so my favorite movie is also biographical: Amazing Grace, which chronicles the life of William Wilberforce and his efforts to end the English slave trade.

In terms of music, I really enjoy Needtobreathe, John Mayer, and occasionally some Jack Johnson.
