Iannucci

Sarah Iannucci is an Improvement Coach at Ed Direction, Cicero Group’s K-12 Public Education practice, working directly with education leaders to improve teaching and learning at scale. Sarah works across the country with leaders and teachers to accelerate growth and learning for adults and students in schools. With over 15 years of experience teaching and leading, Sarah brings a wealth of knowledge to tackle challenges and reach ambitious goals. 

Prior to working with Ed Direction, Sarah served in a variety of capacities at public and charter schools in California and New York.  Sarah began her career as a second- grade teacher in San Jose, California. As a teacher, Sarah specialized in literacy and arts instruction to support strong student gains in all years she was in the classroom. She then worked to support Special Education services and training at Oakland Unified School District with The New Teacher Project, creating a Special Education teacher training program.  Sarah has also worked for and led in some of the highest performing schools in New York. In Brooklyn, NY, Sarah served as an Assistant Principal and Founding Principal.  After her Principalship, Sarah was selected as the Chief of Schools for the highest performing independent charter school in New York State.

Sarah currently serves as an Advisory Council Member to LitWorld, an organization that works for a coalition of national and international partners to ensure that young people worldwide can experience the joy and transformation of reading, writing, and storytelling.

Sarah attended the University of Connecticut for her undergraduate degree and attended the Harvard Graduate School of Education for her Master’s in Education.
