Challenge:

A new team involving staff from multiple organizations was struggling to be ready for a very public launch of a national initiative to develop community leaders. Though the vision had been set months before, progress stalled without clear leadership and management roles and processes.

Cicero Approach:

Cicero worked with the client to define scope and program outcomes for measurement purposes, additional areas for program development and improvement were uncovered. Areas included aspects such as curriculum design and implementation, support staff and faculty recruitment/preparation, participant management, and session design. Working in complete partnership with the client, Cicero guided and empowered program leadership to employ effective project management techniques through tools such as a tasks tracker and clearer decision-making roles and processes.

Results:

Client successfully met the needs of the program in curriculum design and implementation, support staff and faculty recruitment/preparation, participant management, and session design. Cicero’s expertise and managerial ability provided the client with the tools needed to successfully execute a program widely acclaimed by participants, faculty, stakeholders, and other opinion leaders.
